The process starts with Mind Set. Taking ownership to work with your child to help them build confidence and independence.

 

Start this as soon as they are born.  Encourage them with praise and positive feedback as they learn. Baby's need your excited response when they succeed in picking up something, or putting food in their mouth.  As you put your child to bed discuss with your child what they learned and accomplished today. Praise them for specific actions.
